Description
The Girl Scouts of Albion were organized by Mrs. Floyd B. Eastman. December 14, 1931. The Girl Scout troop No. 1 is called the Cardinal troop and is sponsored by the E.L.T. club with a Troop committee as follows: Mrs. J. Clifford Smith, Mrs. C. Morris Cochran, Mrs. W. Clark Dean, Mrs. Minard E. Farley, Mrs. A.D. Sharp, and Mrs. Karl H. Miller. Mrs. Eastman is the captain with Miss Elaine Nagle as lieutenant. The troop consists of 32 members, Barbara Eastman, Virginia Lauber, Marion Yoder, Marjorie Blaisdell, Marjorie Sharp, Martha Towne, Jean Raynor, Roberta Wiender, Mary Kita, Helen Jankowski, Mary Manio, Frances Bambino, Eleanor Wilbur, Lucille Rosenbrook, Mary Karmalski, Elaine Reed, Estella Kryscrib, Jean Carter, June Bowersox, Barbara Weeks, Marion Keeler, Barbara Schumacher, Marjorie Wiener, Kathleen Smith, Dorothea Van Gorden, Anna Smith, Rita Smith, Dora Taylor, June Barry, Dorothy Neil and Evelyn Hamblin.
