Three-story brick building with cast-iron window hood molding, cast-iron pilasters on the first floor. The building lost a fourth floor to a fire in 1919.
[Editorial note: 108 West Porter Street did not lose “a fourth floor to a fire in 1919” because this building only had 3 floors. See the c.1894 picture below. There was a fire in 1919 in the adjacent Eslow Hall (214-216 S. Superior St) where the fourth floor was lost on that building.]
